BEVERLY GROVE: French label The Kooples has finally opened its West Coast flagship. The marble-covered space features Parisian-cool and London-edge styles ranging from $ 95 to $ 1,200.

VENICE: Racked has a look at Charlie’s Los Angeles, a new made-in-the-USA shop on Pacific Avenue. Founded by seasoned craftsman/motorcycle enthusiast Charlie Farago, the menswear boutique offers man cave vibes by way of an in-store pool table, record player, and beer.

BEVERLY HILLS: The Kooples has finally set a date for the opening of their first-ever LA store. The cult-favorite Parisian label confirms that their 3,230-square-foot Robertson boutique is set to open on Thursday, July 17.

BEVERLY HILLS: Take a tour of Eileen Fisher’s new LA concept shop, The Fisher Project. Residing on Robertson between Kitson and Splendid, the 2,500-square-foot space features a minimalist mix of items designed and curated by the NY-based talent.

WESTWOOD: New consignment shoe shop Pound for Pound has just opened across from Westside Pavilion. Fit for serious sneakerheads, the store offers rare and specialty men’s and women’s kicks, including collabs, one-of-a-kind collector’s items, samples and more from brands like Nike, Vans, Adidas, and Asics.

MELROSE: Decades’s legendary $ 150 shoe sale starts tomorrow. The vintage mecca’s brand-name blowout will run from 9 am to 6 pm and offer styles for both men and women from designers including Chanel, Margiela, and Tom Ford.

CENTURY CITY: Westfield Century City’s $ 700-million makeover is going to be major. Set to be unveiled in spring 2017, the project promises 422,00 square feet of new retail space, 220 shops and restaurants, eight acres of outdoor space (including a new central plaza), 20 new residences across 10 floors, 3,375 new jobs, and 4,700 parking spaces. Rumored new tenants include Eataly, Tom Ford, and Nordstrom.

DOWNTOWN: DTLA Arts District’s One Santa Fe has signed its first beauty tenant. New York-based apothecary Malin + Goetz—known for its unique array of the unisex skin, and haircare products—will join the massive mixed-use development‘s roster at The Yards in 2016.

CITYWIDE: Uniqlo’s westward expansion continues. Before opening a slew of permanent SoCal stores, the popular global retailer of wallet-friendly apparel for men and women is set to open three pop-up shops next month. The lucky shopping centers are South Coast Plaza (July 3), Santa Monica Place (July 22), and the Beverly Center (July 31).

LITTLE TOKYO: A Hello Kitty Convention is taking over MOCA’s Geffen Contemporary this fall. Coinciding with the cartoon cat’s fortieth anniversary, the four-day event will include a Super Supermarket, a pop-up shop, art installations, an interactive retrospective, and even a tattoo shop.

DOWNTOWN: By-apointment-only boutique Please Do Not Enter has opened in the PacMutual complex penthouse. The 1,550-square-foot, artfully curated shop offers out-of-the-box fashion, accessories, art, design, and more by independent designers.
